Through Week 5 of the 2023 Las Vegas SuperContest, contestant “CALICRACKER” leads the field with 20 points thanks to a record of 19-4-2. After entering the week in a tie for third place, CALICRACKER went 4-0-1 in Week 5 to jump into the lead and he’s the sole contestant in first place.

In Week 5, CALICRACKER selected the Houston Texans (+2), Philadelphia Eagles (-4.5), Kansas City Chiefs (-4), San Francisco 49ers (-3.5), and Las Vegas Raiders (+1). The Texans pushed and all of the other sides covered.

Behind CALICRACKER on the SuperContest leaderboard is a group of four contestants tied with 19 points, then it’s a group of seven contestants tied at 18.5 points.

The two contestants who were in a first-place tie entering Week 5, “MIDNIGHT RUN” and “TA2,” both went 2-2-1 on the week and dropped back into a tie for sixth place.

There are 1,301 entries in the 2023 Las Vegas SuperContest and the season-long winner will earn $206,220.

“FIELD POSITION” Leads SuperContest Gold

In the $5,000 buy-in SuperContest Gold, it’s contestant “FIELD POSITION” in the lead with 18 points thanks to a record of 17-6-2. FIELD POSITION went 4-0-1 in Week 5 to assume the top spot on the SuperContest Gold leaderboard.

“BORN2WIN GOLD,” who was on top of the SuperContest Gold standings entering Week 5, had a bad week of 1-4 and dropped back into a tie for sixth place.

The SuperContest Gold is a winner-take-all contest with a $5,000 buy-in. There are 92 entries in the 2023 Las Vegas SuperContest Gold, and the winner is set to take home $460,000.
